Liam Lonsdale // Ambassador

Liam Lonsdale is a professional photographer and presenter based in the Lake District, England. Splitting his time between photography & events, Liam works with some of the worlds best athletes & the most prestigious competitions. Infamous for his crazy travel itineraries, he is almost always on the move, chasing the next great shot or working on another show. When Liam isn't working, it is pretty much guaranteed that you will find him climbing; it is what he really lives for. Liam has climbed all over the world; his experience spans many disciplines: from repeating classics in areas like Fontainebleau, Cataluña and Kalymnos to exploring areas like the Val Di Mello and the Frankenjura. He has climbed first and second ascents in Vietnam, Lebanon and Oman and of course he loves climbing on his 'home cliffs' too.

"When it comes to climbing, I am motivated by the aesthetic of a line and the purity of the movement involved; this is very similar to what I look for in my photography too. The key focus in all of my work is that I want to tell a story and in some ways this can be said of my climbing ... I'm always looking for another adventure, a new challenge and a great tale to share around the campfire." - Liam Lonsdale

Louis Parkinson // Athlete

Louis Parkinson is a boulderer, competition climber and coach based in London, England. Known for his boundless enthusiasm for climbing rather actually being good at it, Louis has achieved notoriety for his extremely entertaining videos showcasing the strength and power he has inadvertently developed by lacking decent climbing technique over the last decade (though he has been working really hard at improving recently!) Over the last few years, Louis has split his time between competing, training indoors (for both himself and others), and climbing on actual rocks whenever he gets the chance! In competitions, Louis has won the British Universities Climbing Series, the very first Beastmaker International Footless Festival (a competitions seemingly created with him in mind), the Blocbuster Competition at Depot Nottingham, the Castle Climbing Centres 20th Anniversary competition, and made it onto the podium many times at the annual Blokfest Competitions. He has competed at the IFSC Bouldering World Cup in Toronto and Vail, as well as the Hardmoves competition in Dusseldorf. Basically; Louis really likes competitions and is starting to get a bit better at them! Louis has also managed to get a decent amount done on real rock considering the lack of cliffs and boulders in Englands capital. He has climbed 8A boulders on the Gritstone of England, the Gneiss the Rocky Mountains and Magic Wood (where he also completed his first 8B boulder), and has put up numerous first ascents in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Most of Louis’ time is spent training indoors and coaching, feeling truly lucky to have a job he enjoys so much. Louis finds as much fulfillment in helping people with their climbing as he does from improving his own; “As far as I can tell, climbing is an activity which is much more about the process than the actual result. The point of climbing is to challenge yourself, both mentally and physically, so to me it’s completely irrelevant whether that challenge is on a V15 or a V0; all I see is everybody trying really hard and it gets me really psyched for my own projects!”...

Karo Sinnhuber // Athlete (2017)

'95 born Karo Sinnhuber was already climbing when she was 4 years old – and she's still crushing! Becoming more and more famous for pretty hard sends (and wearing pretty hard leggings), she's part of the austrian climbing team delivering super solid results on plastic and rock. Besides taking good placements in worldcups like 5th in Chongqing 2016, Karo did some amazing sends in some of the worlds greatest bouldering areas like several 8A Flashs in Silvretta and Zillertal, „Nutsa“ (8A+) and „Fragile Steps“ (8B) in Rocklands or „High Voltage“ (8A+) in Felbertal. In early 2017 she's on a trip to font with the austrian climbing team, so you can expect some classics to be on her list. To read some more interesting stuff about Karo, for example the fact that besides collecting sick sends she has still enough time to study laws and being a healthy food addict, you should have a look on her personal blog...
